Good to know it's only a minor damage.

I saw that Pagid makes RSL 29 brake pads for Brembo 18Z calipers but with ML450 brake discs I need Brembo 17Z pads. The difference between them is just 7 mm on the height, so they could be trimmed like yours seem to have been.

At the moment I'm waiting for prices for Carbotech XP12 and XP20 that are a direct fit.

I want to get rid of the FM aerial which looks like none of you guys have  Is there a blank you can put in the hole to stop water eating away at it or is there a really mini one you can buy?? I have a shark fin one with a long fm aerial coming out the back. All these cars look so sexy

Not sure, i think its the Caddy 2K mk3... however I think they are also used on a few other VWs. Ill get some more pics up in a bit.

Got any part numbers?  Are these new VW ones you bought?  Looks like a decent enough upgrade.

Amazing build up!
So if I use the same brake set up with tt rs et 47 18 8.5 5x112 wheels instead of pescara et51 7.5, may I can clear them without spacers ?

In other news... New OEM VW windscreen fitted today... new washer jets and new wipers. Drives like a new car now

I wish I had a VW screen fitted when my last one went.   Autoglas ones are wafer thin and crack if you so much as fart near it.

Can't beat new wipers.  New washers as well, wow, lucky car!
