Without sounding like a biff, I cannot remember the exact names for the part etc... But I had a similar problem on my Scirocco at Christmas past there with the CEL/EPC and EML lighting up and going into limp mode. After a day or so my dealer of them clearing codes and not knowing what was wrong they lit up again. They reset the throttle body sensor position and it cured the issue. They took it off thinking it was dirty but it was super clean. I haven't had any problems since. Just in case it saves you £400. Applies to you mostly chungster!
