Meh....... possibly! Youll have to try a bit harder until yours is mapped.  :wink:

New CAN gateway ordered too, so I definitely wont have a problem with battery drain... a bit of searching revealed that my K version would suffer.

Absolute PITA to get the can out..... managed to blow the fuse for the headlight washers whilst removing the relays infront... not quite sure how!  :stupid:

I had a few of these blow Rich, they only happened after fitting the RNS' for me too...

It was odd... i got a spark whilst moving the connectors around... and then got a "short to ground headlight washer" error in VCDS  :stupid:

Hmm.

I don't know if the RNS' adds a load to the canbus that means that something else will suffer, or, if the HLW fuses are a weak link anyway... (?)

I remember I cleared just the one occurrence with a VCDS scan/diag & report by clearing the DTC's and telling it to go find strife again. I replaced two fuses in total I think in 3.5 years of having it, 3 of those with the RNS...

This happened before I had put the 510 in.... it happened as I was wrestling with the CAN gateway  :signLOL:

Ohh... and £3.50 for two... TWO... 20a fuses in Halfords!  :surprised:
