My new rears are powdercoated black to match my front, nothing special either. But most parts are new, the rest refurbished, makes me happy knowing both front and rear brake assemblies are much younger than the car itself.

I went to Halfords and got them to mix up some tornado Red paint.. Better colour match to hammerite red, and looks like new. Paint hasn't discoloured since on my car for 2 months.

Foliatec stuff is pretty good, I refreshed the rears on the ed30 with some and it was a great match to the OEM colour  :happy2:
Bought 3 kits from halfords when it was £5 in the clearance sale!

I'll be keen to see how the calipers come out Rich, likely to inspire me to have a crack at mine although Alex said he's happy to do them for me which is by far the lazier option  :laugh:

Is it still badged as a TDI these days?  :rolleye: :evilgrin:
