on my driveway at the moment i curently have 2 Mk1 Gti's one standard, and one 20V T.  a mk4 GTi 20V T, and a new scirocco GT 2.0 TSI 210PS.  The one car i would love to add is a Rallye.  i Love them.  i have had many mk2's, many mk1's a few 4's a few 5's but never a rallye. it is on my list for the next few years though.  I would love this one, and i do think it is worth the money, but it is more money than i am going to spend!!  i love my scirocco, but it just won't put the same sort of smile on your face as you get when driving a more basic car like a MK1 or MK2.  But my scirocco is my daily...

The rallye is a lush car but...

The arse dropped out of the market a couple of years ago I didn't know why but one of the reasons I found out is that you can't get basic spares like front wings for example, so if with a 300bhp R36 lump for example you get a bit excited on an overtake and clip the front wing its a write off.

The G60 wings were the same. Different holes for the wider arches (which are also impossible to get). I found a set of used wings silly prices again.

Its a tough game and don't get me started on the Split Bus!

Talking of vans, VW T5s seem to be hellish popular at the moment and fetching big money.
