I love the megs smooth surface clay kit over the sonus green. I know it's heresy but the megs cleaned a helluva lot of crap off my paintwork. The sonus couldn't remove some of the stuff.

Quick question on clay bars

As a first time 'clayer' Im doing a bit of shopping about before i get some.  Ive seen different types of clay bar ranging from agressive to mild.  Now im pretty sure the car hasnt been done before, and i certainly havent done it (had the car just over 12 months)  I do polish etc but do i need the agressive clay or mild???

id go for mild ben.

Its easier to use and less like to cause problems.

you will probably find mild does a good enough job of it.

Aggresive clay can be hard to use and manipulate if it's the first time your trying and may cause marring.
Megs mild is easy to use and well up for the job.  :smiley:
