VW alloy bags ?
« on: September 29, 2010, 09:22:35 pm »
Can we get these in the UK ?, the other question is it says 18" max, I thought the rolling radius of a 18 would be the same as a 19" ?

I haven't come across these in the UK, but I know they sell them on german ebay, this set may be a tad cheaper than the one in your link. Don't know how good your german is though, lol.

Why would you need them tho ?. If it's just for storage a large black bin liner should do & save a fortune. :signLOL:  :innocent:

Bin bags dont offer the same level of protection as a proper cloth bag, and they also arent marked for which corner they have been on the car...

I got a set of unbranded ones off ebay from a UK seller for £18, as far as I can tell, they're exactly the same. None listed at the moment though, ebay ID is micksgarage - he may be able to get some more?

They're really strong, easy to carry a wheel with the handle and stop the boot getting messy. Win.
