Just fitted itg panel filter ED30

As the title really, wondering whether the benefits will be noticeable or just a placebo?

Total bitch getting the cover off!!!
Standard: Rear parking sensors, Parrot Bluetooth
Retro fitted: MFSW buttons, RCD510, Boot pop, Black Monza II, Xenons, Audi jacking points, open fog light grills.

there'll probably 1 or 2 hp increase so you'll probably not notice much.   :smiley:

Just a placebo effect mate, no real gains to be had from a panel filter..

I think there is a thread on here somewhere that proves it..

Take it off again and put the orig back on.  Your engine will thank you for it.

I think the main benefit is meant to be that you use the same filter and clean it regularly rather than having to buy a new one every 10k miles or so.

The GTI isn't just a machine. It's very much a living, breathing thing.

Huh - OEM filter is good for 60k miles!  OK, that may be pushing slightly far, but based on my own experiences of changing mine at 40k miles (and the same on my old S4 at 40k) - they all look as though they will comfortably last the 60k miles.
