Anyone got pictures of 18" 8.5 ET47 on the Golf? Have bought some Mercedes wheels and not sure what tyre size to go for, dont want any stupid stretch and will only be lowering on springs. They should fit right?

Here mine :

Mk2 tt wheels 18x9 all round et 52 , fronts have 10mm spacers with 215-35-18 and the rears with 15mm spacers and 215-40-18




wow im so liking these

can someone please confirm these dont need arches rolling to fit etc and clear r32 brakes

I like those but I'm glad I went for the OZ instead. I think those look better on Sciroccos.

I'm not one of the biggest lowering fans but it needs a bit of lowering to look perfect. :smiley:

Bought my first set of wheels a few months back, 17" Dare X2, sort of like BBS. crappy pic, but you get the idea. I need new centre caps

Only recently bought my MK5 Golf GTI and the first thing I wanted to do was change the wheels as I'm not a big fan of the Monzas, so I bought some BBS CH 18" 8J ET50, I will use the Monzas for the winter. Not the best photos, but I will get a good camera soon :smiley: Some lovely wheels in this thread!
