I've got stanard 17" monza's on my mk6. Want to put on 19" Glendales from the edition 35. Will they go straight on or will I need to tweek anything?

Thanks
All OEM wheels mk5 or mk6 fit straight, you don't need to worry about them. The ET is always high enough and the wheels aren't that wide as well, so they won't rub.

Thanks Shoduchi!

Just found a company called WSP Italy and they do a set of 4 replacment 19" Glendales for £780. They're not OEM but they seem to have good feedback and decent credablity. I've been told to stay away from replicas from China but these look good.

Anyone had any dealings with this Italian company before?

I believe my old 19" monza's were made by them  :happy2:
The build quality was very very good, and after years of ownership they never suffered with the slightest spec of white worm  :star:

Re:Help with my 18 inch alloys
« Reply #949 on: April 03, 2016, 08:56:00 pm »
Can anyone please advise/help?. I have just bought a mk5 golf tdi in dark grey. It has a set of 18 inch Monza alloys powder coated in black which look awesome. The tyres are 225/40ZR/ 18. The guy I bought the car off said they are on the standard suspension. I would like to have a little more height to the car. The tyres are fitting and looking very similar to the ones in your pics. There is a hands gap on the front but the back ones have the tyre actually tucking under the arch. Would I have got this if the suspension is standard? Haven't had time to take the wheel off and check the suspension yet. I am hoping I will find some coilovers that I can wind up! The back wheels are rubbing when cornering with people in the back. Also one back wheel is more into the arch than the other rear wheel. I can send you pics on your email if you want. Thanks. :happy2:

Monte do you know if these wheels take the genuine VW centre caps? As most reps don't, however I did have a set years ago on another MK5 which did, just wondering if they came from this company.

They are only temporary as the monza's are getting refurbed. The front one is actually mint!

Bought some rs6 alloys but the tyres that they came with are too large for the Gti 245 40 18 :(
