vRSAlex's Octavia vRS Estate - New Mods On
« on: October 01, 2010, 03:42:30 pm »
Been on here for a while, but ive only just had the chance to get round to getting my build thread up.  So here it is, my Skoda Octavia II vRS Estate in race blue with the TFSi engine.

This is how it started:

First thing was a BDM intake kit, but with ceramic coated pipework:

Next up was the TT wishbones with WALK and superpro front bushes:

Ollie at THS sorted me out a cracking price for an intercooler and engine mounts:

More to come in a bit...

Its very similar to the ITG, but we make our own pipework and use SFS for the hoses.  We only use the non oiled pipercross filters and also found we get better results without using a headshield.  The shield blocks off the main airflow to the filter through the slam pannel.

Nice Car Mate  :happy2:

Thanks. I think   :P

Nice car , I was looking at Octy vRs' as well as GTIs but found a Golf first - I had a Mk1 vRS in 2001 that I loved!
2005 Golf GTI 3 Door - Tornado Red. (2010 - 2012)

2008 Golf GTI 3 Door - Candy White , 18" Monza II's , Leather , Armrest , Rear Park sensors. (current car)

Net up was a detailing day.  The car had a big scratch down the side and the paint was like sand paper.  Clayed the whole car twice then spent the next 8 hours with the rotary polisher using 3M products to get the car up to my standards.

Before:

3 wipes with the clay:

After:

This is how the car stands now.  With BBS CK's in black on Eibach sportlines.  Ive fitted a few more bits since, but ive not got round to the pics so far.
