Must be due an update by now Alex paticulary the performance box stats as we all know about the dyno lottery

Perf box has been sat in the glove box waiting for a free evening when the weather is good and there isn't any traffic.  Failed so far on that and having time for a dyno run.  Revo are sorting out a slightly different map to see if there is much more to get out of the turbo.

Ast I heard he was busy mending his better halfs seat Altea. ;-p

The altea is great now.  Rcd510 fitted with a new can bus module from Eddie.  Serviced, new engine mount bush and a fresh alignment.  It's like a new car.

Oh yeah, and the big update is:

Booked in at skoda for some free coil packs.  Waiting with the car and not letting them drive it.  If they break any of the clips on the plugs then I will shoot them!  :fighting:

I was sorting through some stuff in the stock room last week and found these and thought it would be rude not to fit them.

Front bar fitted.  It fits neatly under the full length undertray too.

One rear bar:

Other rear bar:

They have made a little difference to the car.  Seems more stable and precise in the corners.

Coilpacks were also done at skoda with no issues.  The tech had been over to bdm before to get some advice on tuning his own car.  I can deffo feel the engine responds better now.

They look pretty beefy Alex. What are they supposed to do and would you notice more difference without fitting the ARB's?

They are meant to stiffen up the chassis.  The rear subframe isn't that beefy as standard.  This bolts up between the weakest points.  It's made of alloy so its light, but also surprisingly stiff.

I thing it would compliment uprated roll bars more than helping standard bars.  We only ever had three sets, one went on a mk6 GTi, one on a Guatemalan Leon race car and the other on mine.  I've not had a chance to push the car in the dry, but I could notice a difference in the wet (i drive quite hard in the wet still).

We don't deal with kmd any more so I can't even sell them.  I would like to make some bars in t-45 rather than Ali as they would be even stiffer and just as light.

Well the race map is on now thanks to Kev and Nick at Revo.  It's still a test map, but has a raised rev limit, allows for left foot braking, eliminates the torque cut on fast gearchanges and asks for max boost all the time.

So far so good as I only loaded it last night and logged on the way home.  I think my rev d valve has sh*t itself as it won't hold the boost I want.  My spare will be going on later and if that's not the issue then the actuator needs a tweek.  Pulling 265 g/s on the maf with no timing pull.  Peaking at 1.8 bar boost dropping to 1.4 at the redline.  Still a little more in the turbo.

This is an ed30 in Romania with the race map and I think the hybrid that we did for them:

420 bhp on a dsg isn't bad!

Got the SAE terminals for my odessey 40 so that will be fitted once I've made up a suitable box for it.  Sorting out some compbrake top mounts and some custom spring cups (drawings from danish :happy2:) then the TTS uprights that I've had for a while will get fitted too.

I know that car. It's a close friend of mine (Cristian). It was a GTI, and he bought the K04 from a friend of mine also. So no hybrid in this one :D

420HP is impressive

The map can be written for anything (mine is manual) but I don't know if its going to be a full release file as its so aggressive.

I need to ask vlad if the hybrid car has been tested yet.  Would be good to see the hybrid on the white golf with the same setup.

Just been out after changing the dv.  No improvement so I need to crank up the actuator me thinks.

Emptied the catch tank too while I was there.

So to run this new map "safely" judging by the mods in the vid i would need water meth, S3 injectors and in-tank fuel pump over exisisting 2+ mods providing Revo realease it?

You have a cupra don't you rob?  So you already have the s3 injectors.  Just need the water meth.  I can't see any need for the intank fuel pump.  I don't and I can get 136 bar fuel pressure.
