Mine might have been T30 as it was a retro fit to relocate the DV on the last Octy i had.

Most of the k03s cars had t-30 bolts, but the later cars had a stud held on with a 4.5mm socket with the bracket held onto the stud with a nut.

Today's mission is to get those two nuts off.

Have you noticed any more improvements on the clutch bleed valve mod Alex?

Alex,

Could the fact you have different software prevent your car from stalling with nothing plugged into the solenoid?

Tightened the hose clips up further, didn't help.  Will strip the top of the DV when it's day light to check the o ring

Just spoke to forge to order the supersize dv kit, i have the valve but need the rest. They could not understand how i could run the s.size dv on the 2.0tfsi, they had never heard of it before?? They kept saying yeah the 1.8t, no i promise you it is the 2.0t. If its the 2.0t then you will need to run a different map for the s.size.  I have used your pic to send to them it fitted with the little inlet mani adapter. Stevie.

Be interested to see if you get it working. Are you Revo?

It depends on who you speak to at forge. They won't sell this as a kit for the tfsi as they want to sell the specific tfsi valve they do.

I've fitted this to quite a few different cars, bit they were all running Revo. Mike did have a problem with his valve not seeming to work with Apr software, or the valve was duff.

Pm me and I can let you know what you need.

Hi Alex,
A little question regarding the tt hubs.I want to put the tt hubs on my octy as well the only thing is I have S3 control arms and camber plates so I don't need the extra camber the tt arms give, the question is will the tt hubs alone modify the front track or the 26 mm extra width is given by the tt arms plus the hubs?

thank you

Now this is a setup I've not tried yet.  The TT arms add the extra width through the extra camber that is available, but then the tt hubs add even more.  I'm guessing the the tt hubs will add some width, but not as much as doing the both together.

If it was me I would add the whole tt setup running the camber on the arms to the max then use the top camber plates to fine tune.  This will give the maximum track width possible.  Just remember to change the tie arms and rod ends too.

No dyno at BDM and the closest dyno is a maha.  I'm going to get round to it at some point.

This show the lower mounting points:

Hello Alex.
One question about the TT hub: is the ball joint mounting point lower on the TT hub? Or is the GTI ball joint mounting point lower than the TT one?
From you picture I could only tell that the steering mounting point is lower on the TT, but not much else.

Thanks!  :drinking:
