I've had a random missfire for a while now.  Only on boost and most of the time I just pootle about so I never notice until I boot it. Doesn't always do it, but its been getting worse over the last week.  Not the plugs or the coilpacks and always on cylinder 3.

So injector it must be.  Seems like the exact same issue that Mike had.  Only fitted a full set of new ones when the K04 went on maybe 10k ago.

I tried multiple sets of plugs & coils & swapped them from cyl - cyl, catch can off, new rev PCV, new battery, clean air filter, fuel pump.

From what you was just saying sounds the same as my injector 3 issue

They are on:

Just amazing.  Transformed the front end and the wheels tuck under the arches perfectly now.  Tad more camber at -3 degs!  Sharper turn in, fantatic in the wet and the KW's are working as they should.  No more annoying rubber top mount bounce.

Injector 3 also replaced and no more missfire.

On another note, I can confirm that catch cans dont make bugger all difference on the carbon build up in the inlets.  I will upload some pics on monday showing the amount of build up I already have.

Changed the oil to the Millers CFS 5w40 NT that I keep in stock.

Just the S3 cams to fit now when I have time.

Looks good Alex, and just to confirm, the S3 cams being the same as Cupra and ED30 cams  :happy2:

Over the top mod list ;o)

I believe the part numbers are slightly different which leads me to think they are different profiles.  Something I need to check really.  What is the engine code of your Cupra engine Jake?

reckon ground control mounts will solve my clearance issue alex? been quite bad this weekend :(

They will stop the top mount rubber sagging when you corner which should stop the rubbing.  The stiffness of the coilover is allowing loads of movement in the top mounts.  If I bounced on the front of the car there used to be loads of movement and bounce.  With the new mounts its solid.

Strange that the rubbing has got worse this weekend.  Maybe the heat is allowing you to stop driving like a girl and corner harder with the increased grip.  :signLOL:

Surprisingly well.  It does spin loads in first, not so much in second, then bites fully in the third.  The diff really calms the wheels spinning on the corners too along with a balanced throttle.

Do they clunk?

Yes, but not too badly.  That's the only downside with solid top mounts.
