Whilst driving to the otherside of MK on Saturday to weld some seat mounts into a mk2 golf race car I'm helping run, the fooking clutch master cylinder decided to split again.  Limped all the way home after doing the work and managed 30mpg, the best I've seen for a good 6 months!

New cylinder will be with me in the morning under warranty again. Will see if I get time tomorrow evening to fit it.

Am I the only one this has happened to?

Worth avoiding then if you've had issues?

The clutch is perfect. Just the sh*te plastic master cylinders that seem to be the problem. I've fitted quite a few over the years and I'm the only one that seems to have ad an issue.  The original master never failed, but I changed it anyway.  Only the new ones that have failed.

Changed the master cylinder tonight and all is well again.  Also found some led bulbs so chucked them in the number plate lights and the interior light.  Much better now.

It's an upgrade for MC? Or it's a new stock one?

Still the stock one.  I'm yet to find an upgrade part.

Have you got the 70mm tb on yet Teff?

Sorted.  Mine should be with me next week.  Hopefully before Inters.

What hose did you use from the up pipe to the tb?
