JKMs Octy with stock K04 has 370 on their DD dyno I think.

Which dyno you go on though? APRs??

I thought that the highest k04 car on JKM's dyno was somethink like 330-340bhp??

357bhp

I always knew it would be around that.  Should really be more.  Drives like its more.

It's the torque that's really sh*te.  315lbft.

Curve is nice.  Boost is holding well.  Timing is good.  Mike, Sy, and h4rdy will both confirm its strong.

What would cause the torque to be low? Still not bad power!?! I's be happy with that...

Sure it was TFSI at this age vRS...

That does seem low... could it be the dyno reading wrong?

Mike, Sy, and h4rdy will both confirm its strong.

Its no fabia, thats for sure

Its really smooth and id say it feels like it has alot more than 315lbft.  Id say it feels slower than Mikes Cupra, but then that would be expected since its an estate and there were three of us sat in there for the ride, so loads of extra weight but it certainly didnt struggle to pull it along.

Id have expected more power though.

Tbh, i was more blown away by the cornering grip you had ON ROAD TYRES :congrats:

edit

I see on APRs FB page that there was a K04 Converted 2.0TSI that made 360hp on their MAHA, so yours is making as near as dammit the same power, and its pretty well known that the K04'd TSI is stronger than the TFSI K04.  Should have took mikes Cupra over for a comparison on those rollers.

Something to do over Xmas.  Need a few other bits like an AFI mani and a GTX 3071 to go with it.

With extra weight comes extra power.

Tbh I don't think just swapping from a steel subframe to an alloy one will save much.   Will save around 10kg iirc.

How's the canister delete going?

No faults or adverse affects so far.  Need to test for another week or so before I start ripping loads out.  Really cleans up the bay and allows for annice big catch can.   I will take a pic tomorrow.

Fitted loads of other bits that I need to show to the world.

Got a damn sexy wmi tank from Forge that will be with me next week.
