Tbh I havent measured the flow.  Going to log the pressures in a bit.

Ive been wanting to make up a solid bush to replace the smaller dog bone rubber bush for ages now.  The standard one splits really easily and the powerflex seems a compromise.  With a solid one not available I thought why not.  Its not fitted yet so testing will start on monday.  If im happy with it then I (personally) will make a batch of ten to sell (who is up for a group buy maybe)  The bush is made of aircraft grade alloy.

....I finally got around to reading your build thread and noticed this ^.

Did you make any more and would one fit my Mk5 GTI's BSC dogbone (or is it BCS?)?

I already have all three VWR engine mounts (not the solid metal versions) and was thinking of using a polyurethane bush so that all my car is poly bushed.

....No, it's black and badged BCS BHS but I don't have any pics of it. I think BCS got eaten by Revo?

It's so unlike me not to take a photo of any mod on my car. I don't even know which bush is fitted - Either OEM or Powerflex.

You have the BSH mount.  I can't confirm if the vibratechnics mount would fit into it though.

Perhaps I'm getting confused (again!) - It's the bush (if there is one) in the BHS arm at the forward end which is bolted(?) to the black arm in my photo above.

....That's what I thought might be the case, Rich  So that middle bolt does have a bush in the forward end of the dogbone (now BHS on mine).

I know I trawled back a bit but are you running a 20mm or 21mm wrist pin now?

I can't find the 21mm pin rods did you have them specially made?

Have you got a standard KO4 piston in? It is an XBOW one still yes?

Thats another issue as I can't find a 21mm pin Piston either.

I think I know the answer to this as I asked you but will the pistons fit past the crank from underneath or is it defo a head off exercise?

The rods in the car are 20mm pinned matched with almost new stock pistons and brand new rings.

I do 21mm rods now from DM Forged.  They are still the only company to make them.  Just stick with stock pistons.   Ive not seen 21mm aftermarket pistons.

Head off to do them.

No need to do rods on ED30 lump unless going to 450 onwards.
