what did you do with the ceramic coated pieces off your ITG intake

Need to sell the kit when I get a chance.

those CKs clear the big brakes OK Alex? do you have anything done with the shifter? I hear you do the shifter bushings, thinking of them for my VRS

They will just clear without spacers but I would advise using a 3mm or a 5mm.  Wheel weights do cause an issue but with some clever positioning and balancing they are good.

I do a shifter bracket solid bush kit.  Back in stock in a week or two.

Saw the CK's in person tonight. They looked stunning  Perfectly filled the arches in 18"s and I'd pick them over 19"s for running costs, look no smaller to me  :happy2:

Lovely motor and Alex is a top guy. More or less confirmed my purchase order for CK's 18x8J too...

Intake kit change.  Was running the ITG that I copied but ceramic coated.

Before:

New Revo kit:

Fitted:

Overall its improved low down and mid range power.  Holds boost for longer.  Peak maf before and after is identical to the old kit at 275 g/s but peaks higher throughout the rest of the rev range.

Looks and fits great too and to show a gain against the other best kit on the market is good news to me.

Before my RR yesterday we did a 4 gear pull and the LOBA showed 300g/s on the MAF  with the REVO intake fitted :happy2:

Alex if you could, could you PM me the price for the Shifter kit, what does it consist of/what are my options/what do you recommend? have you fitted any to a FL VRS yet as I think I will need the MK6 GTI kit (can take pics for you anyway if need be) cheers!

Have to say the CKs look beyond stunning. That anthracite matches the blue perfectly.

Looks immense in the sunlight / in the flesh!

I've been a bit slack on the updates recently.  Not really had any time, but got a few bits done.

Original TB died and luckily I had a larger one sitting on the shelf ready to go on.  Fitted on perfectly and also added a WMI spacer plate.  The up pipe was also screaming to be replaced, so fab'd up a new larger bore version in alloy.

Performace wise the car picks up boost better and there is more throttle response too.  Not sure if its really make a massive overall power gain.

Nice work there Pal  :happy2:  Did you put any taps for wmi on the throttlebody pipe like the bsh pipes?

Or just the wmi spacer?
If it's not broke, Mod it.....
