rcd 300 ipod/iphone

hello eveyone , does anybody know whats the best set up that will play /charge a 4th gen ipod nano with rcd 300 also will it  play my iphone tunes and charge the phone as well.?

^^^ Not with an RCD300 you won't.

The original VW iPod adapter will play and charge the 4th gen Nano but you only get the first 5 playlists on the iPod from the 1-5 buttons on the headunit or all tracks via button 6. Plus not text track names on the headunit.

If you have the highline cluster in the centre of the clocks the the Dension canbus iPod adapter will allow direct control via the MFSW and artist/title text in the cluster  :happy2:

cheers , but i dont have the highline computer , any more ideas ? i just have the standard rcd 300 and no mfsw..

Then all you can do if get a standard VW iPod adapter with the limitations I said above. Dension and Connects2 also do a version that works in the same way.

Other option is to add an aux in connection and then have direct control from the ipod but no charging via this route.
