Good roads in Wales please.....

Heading up to Wales in the M3 later this month, plan to do the breacon beacons and the Evo Triangle.

Do you know any other roads nearby, or any routes that encompass both the above???

Google Black Mountain Road.

Also, Llanberis pass near the Triangle is ace! Roads around Lake Bala, whole of the A5, Horseshoe Pass ..... loads and loads!

I would give the evo triangle a miss, if it was me, they are a bit to well known and used.
My favourite road in wales is between Bala and Cricketh, very quiet and very fast. And if you make it to Cricketh castle alive, then there is one of the best Chippies in the world.  :happy2:

Road from Ammanford to Llandovery is good (A4069) and you recognise the bridge at the Llandovery end from many an evo article. I believe their Road Racers article may have been done on it ? .
B4560 between Ebbw Vale and Llangynidr is good and used by evo and top gear regularly and most roads around the Elan valley. Especially the u/c between the Craig Goch res and devils bridge. Its like a mini Stelvio !
