Thanks for all the tips everyone, that should keep me occupied for a while! I'll have to sit down and plan a route at some point, taking into consideration everyone's ideas here  :happy2:

Chris, are you going over a weekend? Need any company

I'm going up for a friend's wedding, so thought that I would take a few hours to explore the local roads. I think I'll plan a proper road trip in the Spring next year to go back and explore the roads properly, so we should take a few cars then!

Road surface leaves alot to be desired and ford crossings can be hairy! Amazing views and scenery though!

I've been playing out in the sunshine today in Wales, left home bright and early at 7am on a lap of the 'Beddie Loop' haha!  :driver:

Home to Ruthin then over the A542 'Horseshoe Pass' into Llangollen, then a quick nip to Chirk for breakfast at McDonalds...  double back on the A5 past Llangollen  then 2 laps of the Evo Triangle (up on the B4501 and back down on the A543)... Then A5 to Betws-y-Coed and a tank of Shell's finest... Then A4086 'Llanberis Pass' into Caernarfon and back on the A4085... Then A4212 Trawsfynydd to Bala and Finally A494 to Mold and then home..

287 miles, 2 sausage and egg Mcmuffins, 2 lots of fish and chips and a Jelly Baby flavour ice cream and all done  :happy2:
