Or NGK iridium sparkies.

The GTI isn't just a machine. It's very much a living, breathing thing.

NGK BKR7EIX plugs are the best.  Alot of people have been having problems with the Densos with tips coming off.  I personally have had no issues with the IK24's.

I can only confirm what Alex has said as I had Denso Iridiums and ended up going back to OEM Bosch ones after the tips burnt out after just a few thousand miles.
Golf R gone.

I have a set IK24s waiting to be fitted.  Should I exchange them for the NGK BKR7EIX?

Just spoke to Opie Oils where I bought a pack of four from...and they have never had any reported problems.

Neil, Denso Iridiums are the way forward sir. I changed to these 5k miles ago and they have been superb up to now with no problems so far. Tim has them too btw.  :drinking:

Question is why did the others have problems with the Densos?  Bad batch, or was it the remap?

Avoid bosch super's on a modded TFSI. When i drove my car slow for a few miles and then hard it would missfire awful but would clear if kept driven hard until i drove it sedate again.

Put the NGK iridiums in and runs very sweet.

Ok, just fitted the Denso plugs today...and boy do they make a difference!!!

My turbo gauge used to peak at 17-18 psi or so.  Now it goes all the way up to 20 and beyond... wooooaaah!  :driver:

Stick with the OEM factory fitted Bosch FR7KPP332 Platinum jobbies.  I think the gazillion miles of testing VW and Audi have done on these engines, along with Hurdys mega tuning efforts prove these are more than upto the job.
