....You think that's a Gannet? :stupid: Nah, it's a Vulcan in Arctic camouflage - Ask Hedge . Actually it could be a Victor.
You've totally conveyed the feeling of flight. If you could manage to get continuity of commissions I reckon you could easily be a pro photographer. A good agent would cream off at least 25% but 75% of something is better than 100% of nothing. I guess that it's still very competitive as it was when I worked as a Designer/Art Director. Also, financial investment in the gear can be expensive, especially if studio work, though you can hire studios, assistants, etc.
On the other hand, there's a lot to be said for shooting what you want rather than what a paying client wants.

You last comment is precisely why i still love it... Its a bit like become i pro musician, its all fun and games until money is involved!
This was an awesome road to drive up... any guesses

I love the varied natural lighting and the enormous distance - Those peaks faaaar awaaaay in the upper left, outlined by white cloud.
It's very 'painterly' and there's a lot going on in it. I'm now enjoying the quite intense green on the slopes. And, of course, the road invites!
