Rich's shot of the upper surface shows the care and attention she received from the painters these last few weeks.

Thanks lads. It wasn't an ideal day as shooting things in the sky when it's over cast is a nightmare.

I was also using my dads nikon d700 and 150-500mm lens which I'm not familiar with. Too many buttons so it was a fire and hope situation. :-)

Kehlsteinhaus Eagles Nest by Rich Wigley, on Flickr

From a holiday in 2012... this is up on the Eagles Nest, which was built for Hitlers 50th birthday. Spectacular views of Germany and Salzburg in Autstia.

Amazing shots Rich  :notworthy: :notworthy: :notworthy:

Austria is just stunning.  :happy2:

I went to Faaker See in 2007 on the Vrod. Its like the Worthersee event for VW's only its a HOG rally (Harley Owners Group). 1000's of Harleys

Totally Idyllic part of the world. The weather was Amazing too. Altogether one of the Best holidays Ive ever had.  :star:

....That shot captures the atmosphere and presence of a big lake very well indeed. But I would straighten it on the horizontal of the lake's edge if you don't mind me saying.

When I was staying with Native friends in America they took me to the Harley-Davidson 1903-2003 centenary celebrations - Quite an event! Harley Heaven!  :notworthy:

Yeah, that Wigley fella is a bit good!  :notworthy: :notworthy: :notworthy: :notworthy:

He really is professional standard but I can understand him not wanting to get tied down by such demands. Clients can be arseholes and you don't get to photograph what you want so much. And what you have to invest in gear to compete is megabucks. Gone are the days of David Bailey, a simple 35mm camera, a pretty girl and the right social contacts.

But do you have any of your pics in commercial photo libraries, Rich?
