TBH I don't think there is a huge difference between the two. I had a highly tuned ED30 and my overall average was 24mpg. I can't see an R32 being any lower than that to be honest :happy2:

Yes but if you had a R32 the overall average would be 16. :rolleye:

I had an 05 Gti for 2 yrs and have an 07 Edition 30 now, only really wanted the Edition 30 for its track day tunning potential, even before the mods the E 30 was doing 4/5 seconds a lap quicker round Snetterton (haven't done Snett with the LSD yet). The only thing I do notice is the Turbo kicking in later on the E 30, (2200 compaired to 1800) and sometimes a bit more lag than I can remember having before.
Also its quite nice having a limited edition car even though they made a few to many.

Probably true. I managed to get 21mpg out of the dieseasel on the way home from work last night. I hate to think what it would have been like in an R32 :grin:

wierd how the CO's look a lot smaller than the Monza's - probably made worse by the left hander on the E30 pic making the car higher on the side the pic was taken.
