y passenger window goes down 1 touch and up 1 touch passenger side with passenger switch.
goes down but not up with drivers switch and the drivers will only go up and down if i hold the switch what are your thoughts ? window reg or switch ?

Confusing post but if I understand what you're saying, you can use one-touch on the front passenger window but not the driver's side? In which case, press and hold the switch until the window is fully down. Then press the switch until the window  is fully up. Repeat a couple of times and it should work with one-touch.

The car learns if you tend to use the one touch or up/down increments.

The GTI isn't just a machine. It's very much a living, breathing thing.

Sorry for the confusion
passenger side
 with passenger switch 1 touch up and down (works)
with drivers side switch only goes down 1 touch not up

Drivers side window
doesn't go up or down with 1 touch but will if i hold switch up or down.

Hope that makes a bit more sence  :ashamed:
