I had mine made by BTB exhausts, expensive but well worth it!

I found the limit of the "straight through" (baffled) Milltek backbox when it blew the sides out.....  :scared:

Took them a week to make the system but its a work of art! and really light too... Just to re assure you when i dropped mine off they had a 70s F1 car (about £5 million worth) then when i picked mine up they had the first aston martin to of ever won lemans outright in for a restoration exhaust... approx £10 million worth iirc

I hear Pipewerx are very good?

I am led to believe the guys who run it used to work for Blueflame but I might be wrong.

But if you like standard, Pipewerx do a lovely downpipe and high flow cat that fits onto the standard system that apparently sounds lush.

Aparoon the guy I bought my car off had one and thoroughly recommended it.

I love milltek exhausts, I spoke to the director and he said they had some qualitey problems in the past with parts that were outsourced, but they have ironed that out now and are big on qualitey. If a company have found a problem and do everything to sort it , then fair play to them.

They didn't outsource the welding.

Judging by the state of the inside of my tips they don't use non-ferrous stainless either.  :sad1:

The owner of pipewerx is Ian Birch, the founder of Dubsport. Nice guy with top notch exhausts.  :happy2:

I just assumed that Milltech were excellent quality since everyone on here seemed to rave about them. It just goes to show you have to research products before you buy them, not just be a sheep and get what everyone else has!

Are milltek exhausts guaranteed for life?

I have a catalogue but it doesn't really say.

The only hassle would be having to get it sorted every year then?

What is the reliability of the downpipe and cat?

Guantee is good, they do try and sort any problems. When the Miltek work they are good, loved the sound! Quiet when you want to plod about deep when you high revs.

Just the joints go, and as said it blows more than a porn star. If they could re-design/develop the joints/fixings I'd buy one. But need to be convinced first.
