Just looking at Moschops new thread and both gorgeous cars, congrats and noticed his lottery win car would be the R8 so IF you happen to come into a substantial amount of money, say £112M from tomorrows lottery. Just for a bit of fun what would be the first 3 purchases on your list?

For me I think it would be:

1 - A house, something ridiculous like this for me and my mates. Still young so wouldnt be ready to settle down with that amount of cash  http://www.rightmove.co.uk/property-for-sale/property-26597710.html or this http://www.rightmove.co.uk/property-for-sale/property-31120526.html

2 - Would have to be what ever the parents and sister want.

3 - You guessed it a car but so many to choose from but I reckon this would have to be one of many in the stable

Obviously be giving money to charity etc this is just a bit of fun.

1. Go on a nice holiday and hide to calm down and reflect on the situation.

2. Have a house built to my specification.

3. Have a nice collection of vehicles: GT2 RS. 599 GTO. A lot of classic Porsche. Split Screen Buses which I would restore myself. VW Golf Limited (look it up if you don't know), RS6 for the kids to be chauffered. RC30, RC45, OW01, OW02, NR750, RG500, RD500, NS400R all in my own private museum!

I love this dream but I think the reality would be tougher than the dream.

Yes - a big house but I would rather have say a 4 or 5 bedroom place that had features rather than a castle or something. eg ensuite in every bedroom, games room with arcade games on one side and things like pool table on the other side, garage large enough to hold 3 or 4 cars etc. Maybe even an underground bunker in case of war.

Cars - again, being sensible in some cases so well specced audi a8, nicely specced merc (still deciding on which one), keep my Edition 30 (get it to my own specs incl complete custom paintjob), and a couple of sports cars - one deffo a ferrari and one a lambo I think, maybe a DB9 too.

work - TBH I enjoy what I do and I think I'd still continue to work but perhaps hire a locum to do my night and weekend shifts or something. Definitely retire early though.

holiday - definitely take a couple of years out, go see all the places I wanted to see.

The rest of the cash would be spent on family and progeny with a huge amount reserved for them.

The GTI isn't just a machine. It's very much a living, breathing thing.

2. Cars - lots of!
3. Homes - at least one in the UK and one in Italy around the Amalfi coast (maybe on the Island of Capri)

Loads of wonga for close relatives and local/UK charities.

.
Hmm, if I won about £100million....

- A purpose built home with 'garage' open-plan to the study for my best car. But not a larger home than needed.

- Not sure where I'd choose to live but I have already experienced having a home in the UK and two homes abroad, and so I'd stick to just one home.

- I wouldn't want more than three possibly four cars, each very different and for quite different uses.

- I already have put aside a sizeable trust fund for my daughter (stops me buying a supercar!), so not needed - I don't want to spoil her.

- Be able to fly to America, or wherever, just for a weekend, or just for lunch. I got taken to lunch from the UK to Geneva a couple of years ago - It's great to have that kind of freedom. Travel wherever, whenever takes my fancy.

- Be able to say to friends: "Don't worry about the money, the trip's totally on me".

- Give any to charity? - I'd be very fussy and choosey about that.

- I retired when I was 50yo, so my spare time wouldn't change.

- Did someone mention Jessica Alba? Hmm, much as I fancy her looks I think I'd prefer someone else to hang with. When you've got serious money the girlies tend to come flocking, so the choice could be wide.

Yes but its stuff I have always wanted especially the bikes since the 80's

Oh and maybe an F40 IMO the greatest Ferrari.

And a 1974(?) 2.7 RSR.

LOL.

I love petrol, engines, but mainly engineering. I could stare at an engine all day!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
