i had redstuff on a focus i used to have, and they ate my disks so quick, the only plus side is that they are basicly zero dust :), oh and also when they get realy hot they are fantastic, i thought average when cold ie braking on a moterway, i have no experiance with yellow stuff, and dont think i would use redstuff again unless i was doing a track car, and then im sure there are better options :)

hope this helps
tom

We have used EBC discs and pads for years, and I really dont like their pads.  The discs are good and great value for money, but its worth spending the extra on pads and go for some Ferodo DS2500's.  They will out perform the EBC's and last twice as long.  If you do go for the Ferodo's then its worth upgrading the discs to some grooved versions.   The ferodo's are great from cold and awesome when hot.  They can be quite dusty.

As it happens i thought i cud just phone an auto trader up then pop along and get me yellow stuff  :ashamed: but there not in stock and av got to order them, so i have asked a friend for a price for him to supply and fit them. The whole idea of me and my brother fitting them was because one of the calipers is flaky so am gonna paint them first, so my saturday is just gonna be a painting day :ashamed: but the good news is i will get to have a look at the ferodo ds2500's like you suggest before i commit myself so cheers for the info BDMAlex  :happy2:
