Not my last car but one before that was a mk2 GTI,loved it & should never have let it go.

First Golf owner here , the last VW I owned was a 1973 GT Beetle (Apfelgrun) and the last watercooled VW I drove regularly was my late fathers Mk1 Polo (Riyad Yellow)

I bought my Mk5 GTI because I thought my wife new Golf Mk 6 1.6 TDI Match blue motion was such a good car.
My previous car was an Audi RS6 and badly missed...
