Where have the wheels gone?  Colour loses them!

Pics never really do Gloss Black wheels justice. Plus why does anybody want to see tyres anyway? 

I agree re the tyres, but would like to see the architecture and design of the wheel.  I think that 'Kaiser' shade of anthracite would look good, but you will IMO have to keep them really clean to get the best from the colour.  Black just makes it look like it has lost it's wheel trims, and is riding on steels!

Have you thought about the aeromax finish that aerocoat do?

I think cossy on here used them to refurb his ed30 rims.

Lots of peeps on uk-mkivs.net use them for the BBS RC rims from the anni.  Powdercoat finish is spot on, there not black and not grey, give a very high shine finish. See if i can find any links for you.

Would look spot on against silver..

The pictures show them being very light silver but speak to them as they do a darker version which i think will be just what your after.

Been to a Wheel place today and found this colour, i would also adding a really glossy lacquer as i want them wet



which looks darker sometimes, this is the same colour apparently




We also tried a dark smoke chrome which he said he could leave with silver accents on certain areas

Ah, the wheel specialist - get on their newsletter list, they send out late notice offers sometimes.

Always liked the smoked chrome - never seen them on a car but they look great.

Gloss black with some form of edge to seperate from the tyre.

Dont want to do the edge thing as it means diamond cut edge or polished which will mean white worm or it has to be  painted which im not keen on

I am in the gloss black gang  . Though they look good in all those colours. We all know your going to have 5 or 6 sets of them anyway, so why not try all the colours.

yeh im leaning towards anthracite again today after seeing a few cars with gloss black on

Ive always liked satin black, i think the gloss doesnt go with the tyres too well unless dressed, and the satin finish just looks perfect ! and wears dirt a little better
