Jeynesey's ed30
« on: October 12, 2010, 10:49:19 am »
Have decided to create a thread for my ed30, with the prospect of mods coming in the (not so distant :lipsrsealed:) future lol....

As some of you know my old car was a mk4 gti T, as shown below...

I owned it for about 18 months and although I loved it, it started costing money and wanted something a bit nicer

So in May/April I was looking at Audi A3's, then I almost bought a standard MkV Gti.

Plans then changed, I priced up a Scirocco, then decided not to upgrade at all and keep the mk4

I popped into my local dealership for a part with my girlfriend and saw the ed30 on the forecourt and knew I HAD to have it straight away

Piccys from when I 1st got it....

I will update with what I've done so far and some more pics ASAP. I can safely say its the nicest car Ive ever driven and still love it as much as when I first got it.

So, havent done anything major to it yet. Some golfgti stickers and a new aerial

Heres some more pics...

Took her out for a proper spin at Castle Coome a couple of months back

Got a few issues to sort out....

New tyres went on last month, went for Michellin PS3's. They are pretty awesome, very happy with them.

The air con is preety shocking, im almost certain now there is a problem with it. Also my zenons have both got cracks on them in the same place. Not from any sort of impact but looks like a weak point in the maunfacture. Im not very impressed with it, so taking it to my stealer tomorrow to also book in a service.

The Mk4 looks tidy, subtle mods jeynesey :happy2:

Ed30 looks hot. A black 5door deffo seems the way to go.

Love the car. Repping the wrong forum - not so cool!

KKH - I'm sure I've seen that reg on the roads before. Where do you live?

The GTI isn't just a machine. It's very much a living, breathing thing.

Brum, but I'm sure I've seen that car somewhere around Hampshire/Dorset.
