Im more anal  if i cant get it to round off to the nearest £, if it goes  £50.01 i have to add another £5'ers worth  :laugh:

Im sure they program the pumps to jump off 00 :mad:

I'm the same but just go to the next pound.

I don't shake the nozzle as such, just tap it on the filler neck a few times to get rid of the drips :smiley:

A quick couple of shakes is enough.

I used to try and round up to the nearest £5 or whole pound but since I have the GTI, I just fill the tank every time. Especially since I usually end up buying a Fry's Turkish Delight too.

the cut off is in the nozzle so lifting the pipe makes no difference unless you press the nozzle which then pumps more fuel though and adds to the price.

Always worth giving it a shake, dont want to dribble - nothing worse than splash back
