Noisy Gator after coilovers

I fitted some Kw coilovers at the wkend & the car handles & looks great now
I now have a slight problem however, the axle gator (drivers side only) makes a racket when turning left. It gets worse the sharper the turn. Anybody else had problems with this?

The ribs on the corrugated rubber are now closer together hence the rubbing, I'm also getting light vibration through the steering wheel which I think is also down to the gator.

I reckon a thorough wheel alignment may be in order?

Deffo need the 4 wheel alignement

Just sounds like the cv joint isnt seated correctly.  Did you pop the end of the shaft out while fitted the coilovers?

Yes popped the end of the shaft out during installation, so it may not be pushed in far enough?

Could be that the end of the shaft isnt fully back in the hub correctly.  Best bet is to compare the good side to the not so good side

The more you drive it the more likely it could mess up the joint.  I wouldn't really advise driving it, but dont drive it hard or corner fast.

What kind of noise is it making?

It's making a jangly noise, I jacked the car up & spun the wheel on full lock & at first it sounded like the tyre was rubbing on something. Once the wheel was off I realised it was actually the rubber cv joint gator rubbing on its self - the corrugated boot is doubling up on itself more than it would have with the standard suspension - hope this makes sense!
