VW Golf Mk5 door handle lighting installation instructions.Bought from these guys!!!also fitting instructions kind of translated by me
http://www.gsbg-tuning.de/tuergriffbeleuchtung/golf-5-alu.htmlI take no responsibility for anyone screwing up there car with this mod!!!Similarly, the door handle lighting, this should actually be unlocked by VW.Since you have now purchased a conversion solution, the problem is otherwise resolved.
The driver's side so far is done, they just need to share with their original plug and the lights are working!
In the passenger side, they themselves must take action so that it lights up there too
Required parts!!!
Soldering iron,solder
And a little patience.
This work I am describing now takes no longer than 20 mins
Step1
Remove the window switch in the door panel
it should look like this

Step 2
Lift the switch on the bottom gently with a flat screwdriver or knife

Step 3
Now you see the board and the contacts, the 2 wires hanging on the door handle turn to explore them. The contacts are numbered from 1-4
We need contacts 1 and 2, so from the photo on the right it will be "1" and the left of it is "2"

Step 4
Black wire to "1" and solder ... not too much with the solder,a little drop should do just fine!!

Red wire to “2” and solder ... not too much again with the solder,a little drop again will do just fine!!

Step 5
It should look like this!!!

Carefully bend the leads downwardly
Step 6
Put the rubber mat back on it again and the lid

Be careful not to cut the wires
Everything is fitted again and ready
Not too difficult really!!!!
Alternatively, you can connect the wires directly to the door control unit and directly activate the control unit
Connecting the positive wire of the door handle lighting in the door control unit in each door - to connect the following pins
Driver: T32a/14
Passenger side: T32b/14
Rear left: T32e/14
Back right: T32f/14
Minus wire to each T32* / 4
Coding of the door control units increase by 8
Operation of the lighting control
Turns on when low beam is switched
time is delayed about 2 minutes later when low beam is turned off.
