Door handle lights

Has anyone put leds in there door handles? As the new BMWs have?  :evilgrin:

Think i've seen this done somewhere but can't remember what car iot was on! :ashamed:

Black 2007 GTI Manual, Stage 3 K04, R32 Bumper/Exhaust, WALK, adj rear ARB, KW1's, Twintercooler, Twintake, 18's (winters), 19's (summer) modified dectane LED rear lights, NQSBBK, Forge dump valve, Xenon look headlights with 5000k HID, 3" downpipe with sports cat, TT wishbones, uprated HPFP, Sach Uprated Clutch, Quaife LSD, VT & THS Engine Mounts.
To be fitted: Reverse Camera & uprated headunit.

Isn't that on the inside tho....I'm on about outer handles, or have I missed a thread?

They're puddle lights in teh handles on the BMW (I have them). On the Golf, the puddle lights are in the mirror housing (I have them too)

BMW also do lights on the door handles on some of the Sport models (maybe others):

They're small hi-power LEDs, but I'm not sure if anyone has fitted them to the Golf on here.
