Hi all,

I actually bought my gti back in July and have been on the forums since then, but have been holding this off as I wanted to take some pictures.  Unfortunately the car is never clean and my camera is always lost so I've never gotten around to it.

I have a black 5Dr 05 GTI with DSG, Leather (essential with small children!) and 18" Monzas.  I live in Eastleigh Hampshire, so if you see a car or that description driving around in that neck of the woods it's probably me.  I'm not really big into modding but I do plan to get an RNS-510 and a paddle steering wheel when funds allow.

As a side issue I thought it might be useful for the site to have a Map with all of the recommended garages on it (I've seen many people ask where to get wheels refurbished etc).  As I'm a computer programmer by day (not a web developer mind) I've made a start which you can find at http://www.suzannemartintutoring.co.uk/golfgti/recommended_garages.html.  Let me know what you think and if you all like I can turn it into something a bit more comprehensive.
