Hey Everyone :)
I'm new funnily enough, I've been looking through the forums the past couple of days, some really nice cars on here.
I don't actually own a mk5 gti yet, I've got a grey 55 plate 206 which I've owned for just over 2 years.
I do love the car but it's way way way to slow as it's a 1.4.
Anyways I pretty much had my heart set on an A3 sline but i keep seeing mk5 gtis when I'm driving around and I'm like  :drool: so I think I'm swaying that way, should have the car around Christmas.
I can't wait :)
I'll hang around and let you know when I get the car though if that's cool?

If you have any questions about the mk5 gti, I am sure you will find the answers here.  :happy2: Do some research and then when you are ready to buy you will know exactly what yo look for.

Remember to have a look in the For Sale threads here - some people are selling their motors. Someone has a red GTI going for around £9k.

Yeah, I've seen the red gti already when I was having a browse, but red cars really don't do it for me, although it is a nice car, looks in amazing condition and if I had the money now I'd probably snatch it up because that's bloody cheap, can't believe it hasn't gone already to be honest, but yeah I really want a grey one :)

Ohh yeah, are there many people on here from Staffordshire/ midlands sort of area?
