thanks mate. i am not fitting a ed30 splitter, i have bought the gti lower splitter as mine was missing when i bought the car and the front will be colour coded apart from that bit. i used detailers tape to mask up the lights, ( its just blue masking tape) :happy2:

When thats done there will be no more visual mods. as i will be saving for a milltek TBE, evoms v-flow & engine cover, piston dv & forge spacer, revo stage 2.

As always C&C & any suggestions welcome
Allan

....The EVOMS engine cover is a royal pain in the arse to take on and off. There's folks here who have given up and sold theirs on.

I modified mine:  http://www.mk5golfgti.co.uk/forum/index.php/topic,11702.0.html

....But I think it's okay if it's transparent - At least my graded tinted blue one has always passed MOT.

thanks for the replys robin, i didnt realise the evoms cover was such a flawed design, think i myt just go for the modified oem cover now (discovered from a link within your link) :happy2:
and with regards to my sunstip, the place that fitted it said it should pass an mot as you can see through it, but my mate said he failed with the same type strip so...... suppose i will just have to wait and see, mot is a full year away so wont be worrying about it!

I'm liking that  :happy2: I genuinely hope you haven't used any silicone based gel's etc in that spruce up a few weeks ago prior to colour coding....
If you have to ask why, you'll never understand.
