Evening All,

Anyone heard of / used the above? Youtube vid almost looks too good to be true and it seems quite cheap?

Additionally have been using collinite for ages and ages and like it but wonder if anyone has any suggestions for a wax as I might try something new?

G-techniq products end up in the more specialist of detailing areas. It's not something beginners or novices will use immediately. Have a look on detailingworld.

Waxes - take your pick. They range from £5 to £10,000. How much do you want to spend? What are you after?

Hi Thanks I'm tempted togive the P1 a go but dont know whether I will need to glaze then seal after?

Until this point I just regularly polish then wax the car and use 2 bucket method etc..

Don't mind spending up to £40 ish on anew wax. I really like how long the colli last as it seems to last months and months and would want similar performance from a new product.

A friend has used DoDo juice but I'm not sure which one? Or how good it is? Alternatively AG Hi Def Wax?

How many times do you polish? If done properly, you shouldn't need to polish more than twice a year or so.

Glaze depends on the polish. If the polish has fillers (eg autoglym super resin polish) etc then I wouldn't use a glaze as it can remove some of the stuff left behind. If the polish is purely that, then glazes help add a 'wet' look. A sealant can then be applied next to seal in the finish and protect the paintwork. Then wax on top.

Very few waxes last long enough but apparently (haven't got round to reading the thread yet) Vic concours wax lasted around six months.

Normally wax maybe once a quarter? try to get a couple coats on for winter. Wheels get done every week!  might give the P1 a miss then as the paint is not too bad anyway as its only just 3 yrs old.

I was more curoius about using it to remove a couple of fine scratches on the rear bumper by the boot. They pass the finger nail test so might get some scratch X and once done stick with the SRP and wax routine?
