Not really but I recall a few people had issues with leaks after windscreen replacement.

The GTI isn't just a machine. It's very much a living, breathing thing.

yeah, i searched the forums before he arrived , then grilled him on how many years experience he had and if he'd done mk5 screens  :happy2:  :signLOL:

Of note this was published today with shut lines for the whole mkv
(panel gaps and shutlines from my-gti.com)
one of which is the windscreen upper.

I know some folk have complained that the new screen can be lower than the OE one was. Mine appears lower very slightly but well within tolerance


3.5 mm +/- 0.5
