Punto shock!
« on: October 20, 2010, 09:54:05 pm »
On my way home from work earlier down a dual carriageway, just before I came off I overtook a white punto with white wheels, I then proceeded down the off ramp and around the roundabout at which point he was right up my chuff, so I put my foot down and shock horror, he was keeping up!!  After reading up on the net I think it must have been one of these, I never realised they were 180bhp!! Very similar torque figures and 0-60 times to the mk5 GTI too!

Fiats have always had a quick hatch, i've owned both an Uno Turbo MK2 & A Punto GT Turbo in the past.

Has to be said, styling leaves a lot to be desired, the newer ones (since 2002 really!) look crap!

That's probably a direct rival to the Polo GTI & SEAT Ibiza Cupra... I know what i'd choose!

Just IMO!

One of my colleagues has one.  Great fun, does a job, quite quick, cheap and cheerful, and is always filthy.

I'm going to play devil's advocate and say exterior styling wise it looks really good! Interior is crappy though.

Bringing back the memories, Also had two UNO Turbos & a Punto GT.

Uno turbo with a bleed valve 125BHP and 800KGS great fun in a straight line.

Used to love winding up the ford boys. :signLOL:
