Said I would never do a thread aswell but just thought i would share and can always look back keep myself right. The wellies are seriously needed! -4.c and snowing! My car had done 41k miles before the build. Condition is great, I was little worried about the valves but the person who is rebuilding the head said it is completely normal after 41k and they had seen valves 10x worse than mine, everything else has been 10 out of 10 so far. Will see what the pistons/rods are like very soon. Cheers Gaz, Stevie.

Not sure why my image has been removed, maybe cause it wasnt my image. Will try again tonight or will just post a pic up of the real thing on Friday. Cant wait for it to be done myself Stephen!  :smiley:

Getting interesting the new parts are finally being fed in!
Caps being removed.


End result after a few more bolts removed.


Big old heavy crank being removed.....very surprised the weight in it!


The bare bones! Scary stuff.


This lot went straight back in fitted with nice new bearings and thrusts.


These little goodies will be fitted soon enough. Excited! Hopefully I will have the head back early next week.
