An update from the last couple of months. Might even call it a rant. Had the car mapped and logged by Falkland performance, running sweet. Next Revo were heading to Crail raceway so Kev went back out on the road with the laptop with them just to make sure everything was spot on, perfect. Then on to the rollers at Extreme motorsport about 5wks ago and they said there was no boost control and it was running lean as hell 14.1 i think they said back then. A little panic and took the car back up to Falkland performance (Revo). Found air was pissin out of a missing bung in the ext wg, plugged that up and fitted the eboost2 away out on the road with the laptop again giving an afr reading of 8 ( i dont understand the different readings, one old skool and one new skool i think) but they were happy again slightly rich. Back to the 4wd rr at Extreme today and it was yanked off for being lean giving a reading of 13.1!!? What the f*ck. In the end i completely trust Revo and Falkland and it has been logged too many times for them to be wrong. I give up. Here are some snippits i took, sorry for the quality.

Quick vid. One of many lean runs.

Cheers, Stevie.  :drinking:

haha think it was every one saying stuff about converted cars not getting anywhere over 330 bhp but its been rr'd a few difrent places with 370bhp so pretty happy to be honest .  .  .

i would be looking at a new hpfp tho mate i have no faith in that autotech being able to cope with the numbers you are producing ! it is definatly running fine down low with plenty of fueling just watch it up high . :happy2:

Can only get it logged for a fourth time asap and see how it goes. Have the lambda plugged in direct for accuracy. I might be wrong but i think both Dan and Teff at 600bhp are Autotech. Falkland and Revo both logged right through the gears and high up the rev range.

Really need a beer after today!  :drinking:

Not to many replies yet. If somebody in the know can explain the difference between vagcom logging on the road and my poor readings on the rollers it would be much appreciated? What are these numpties doing wrong with my car on the rollers compared to Revo kev and others for the poor readings? I take it road logging is the more accurate?

Thanks, Stevie.

Maybe get a stand alone afr gauge with seperately lambda so you can monitor it yourself. I would trust Revo. Take it they have done rr runs and not had the problem show up?

These are good ones

I suppose on the RR you are relying on an artificial load.
