I can see from your review that the Defi is probably a superior gauge to my Newsouth(?). I guess I was swayed by the oem vent mounting and it's exact match with the standard VW instrumentation.

Defi == $$$

@RR, Defi gauges are the best out there for the money IMO.

Yep, based on this review and your recommendation, I'd probably buy a Defi if I hadn't already bought a NewSouth but mine does its job well enough and I only occasionally look at it what it's displaying.

for me the point i tried to emphasise with this review is that any gauge is better than none as a diagnostic tool in this instance.  :happy2:
