Biting Point Noise

Hi All,
When the car is cold, I get a noise when coming up through the biting point. I can only describe it as loud like a rusty hanger door being closed. I have had the car for three years and it has always done it so perhaps it isn't nasty... but bloody annoying. Any ideas?

Hi i had a similar noise on my edition 30 and started a topic as shown in the link. It's most noticeably when on the bite point in 1st or reverse.

my edition 30 always had a judder when pulling away, a new clutch and flywheel didnt sort it so i just lived with it, its down to the DMF im told, there was a huge thread about it on an American site, they basically ditched the DMF !
