bloody hell.

thats one badly thought out parachute system....sudden deceleration making it uncontrollable. what a waste of a car.

Glad the driver walked away tho.

It was the cross wind that caused it to loose control apparently.

Even so i bet hes glad he fitted that roll cage :grin:

cross wind? seriously? he looked to be going quite straight at 200+....he went out of control just after chute release!

I think he means the cross wind affected the parachute when deployed and upset the back end..
I doubt (as mental as it is) that was over 200mph during impact though. That chute and gravel must of knocked off a decent amount of speed. Would still be a horrendously fast though.. Bit the shed..  :surprised:

It seems to me like most of the drag race crashes I see are parachute oriented, so for me ......just fit better brakes and build longer run offs on drag strips!!!!!!!
