ive read the whole Conn Iggulden  Emperor series. they are excellent, its about the rise and fall of Julius Ceaser.
Ive read the Twilight saga, that was alright.

Id also reccommend reading The Race to Dakar, by charlie boorman.  Very goodread

Necroscope books are quite good.

I have them all on my iPad thanks to Mr Fuller

About 14 books iirc in the series and they deal with Wamphyr and Necroscopes ( people who can talk to the dead )

Should be right up your street. Author is Brian Lumley :happy2:

Some info here http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Necroscope_(series)?wasRedirected=true

nice one mate. will deff look into those.thank you

just read a great book called lonely werefolf girl. had a really funky retake on the "genre" but i,m fcuked if i can remember the author right now.
i love the kelley armstrong stuff- bitten and the following ones
rachel vincent.. on werecats-slight change on the theme.

and i recommended in my bonsai thread a book called
1812- the year china discovered the world. basicall the proof is there that china circumnavigated the globe before anyone else and a lot of upset because the author states among other things that america was colonised before columbus. australia was discovered because they followed a chinese map and there are chinese genes in many red indian tribes proving they were there first. and sooooooo much more. to the point he says da vinci's ideas were copies of chines drawings..... can you imagine the furoure lol! but such an amazing read!

thanks again
this could be an interesting(and expensive thread)

I know they have made an average film of it, but one of my all time favourite books is I Am Legend by Richard Matheson, a very very good read.

^^^^ Now that is a good read  :congrats:

I thought the film with Will Smith was actually very good.

Didn't think the same of the Original though (Omega Man) but then again it is an old film.

The new-ish Dan Brown book, The Lost Symbol is very good but not really any Nosferatu in it though!
