Any IT bods on here
« on: November 03, 2010, 02:10:27 pm »
Need some help with IT if anyone can help. I have 2 e mail accounts from 2 different companies. When i try to down load my e mails it wont connect to one of the sites. I tried to use my i phone to get on the company web site instead of my laptop. When my phone was connected to the internet wirless through my router it would not connect.

When i turned off my wifi on the iphone it connected.

So somehow my router is blocking this website. I have turned off the firewalls and its still not working. Any ideas would be great.

Will.

whats the website?

could be your ISP, but they would have to have a good reason for blocking it.. :-|

Are you running your own internal email by  chance?

If so your Forward DNS has not been configured. Set that up and should fix email problem on both laptop and your Iphone.
