yes it is, but you need the correct controller and of course reverse sensors

The sensors are different, you'll need to get the whole lot replaced if you want the visual display on the RNS-510.
Only 250.1bhp - but with that noise, who cares?

You'll need compatible rear sensors as well as the fronts, a suitable gateway - yours might already be ok, and of course a parking controller that supports OPS.

A lot seems to depend on the age of the car, but generally I have been led to believe that the PDC system isn't up to the job.

Also, it depends on what system you have as I think some were after-market dealer fit kits rather than integrated VW systems.

This is something I'll be looking into further though as I intend to upgrade to OPC when I get an RNS-510.

I will be doing this at some stage too, but just bought a biggy mod to be picked up on Saturday so cannot afford to get the OPS kit at the moment...

By the way i have 4 rear sensors from a mk6 golf for anyone who just needs to swap them over, I think they are about £70 each if some one wants them ill le them go for £5 each.

The GTI isn't just a machine. It's very much a living, breathing thing.
